Snacks During Lessons

Children are encouraged to bring along a snack as lessons are often energetic. However, sweets should not be brought along as lollies and similar items are a choking hazard when playing during breaks, whilst sweets in general can cause hyperactivity which can interfere with concentration levels during lessons. Please ensure snacks are either fruit or low sugar foods. Likewise, only still drinks are allowed.

Attendance

Attendance is incredibly important and children should miss no more than 2 lessons per term and no lessons 6 weeks before exams or the production, or this could lead to children having reduced involvement or being withdrawn from the exams/production.

It’s Show Time!

It’s time to take centre stage with our professionally stage production of Les Misérables which is being performed 01-04 April 2025 at the Kingswood Theatre.

Your commitment to the production is vital so you should aim for 100% attendance. Make sure to check the schedule HERE so that you can attend every week.

Script

Student’s are responsible for printing their own script for auditions and rehearsals (hard copies will be available during lessons, but cannot be taken home) – but they need only print the pages that relevant to them. The full script can be found HERE.

Rehearsal Schedule

When ready, the detailed rehearsal schedule will be published HERE to help you see what scenes we will be working on each week – you can  learn you lines and songs in the right order (generally we work in order of the script) . Make sure to check the schedule regularly as it will updated to reflect the progress we make each week.
