Tom Bright
Founder & Principal
Tom has been involved with theatre for over 10 years having undertaken a broad range of theatre related roles, and in this time he even managed to obtain a First Class degree in Marine Biology. As well as being a professional photographer and Publicity Manager for several award winning professionally staged productions, most recently Tom took on the considerable challenge of Production Manager for ‘The Wizard of Oz’ which was one of the most technically challenging productions to ever visit The Theatre Royal in Bath. Having received critical acclaim for this and other productions, Tom is keen to help enable young people to fulfil their theatre aspirations by heading the team for Bath Theatre School.

Adrian Millard
Founder & Acting Director
Adrian studied Musical Theatre Performance at Bath Spa University. He currently teaches LAMDA Speech and Drama in schools and has been a Singing Teacher in Bath for over 15 years. He has written music and lyrics for two full length musicals: ‘Frame by Frame’, which became a finalist in the 1996 Vivian Ellis awards in London, and ‘Houdini’, about the life of the great escapologist, performed in 2002. Adrian has performed over twenty principal roles at the Theatre Royal in Bath. In 2012 he directed the hugely successful ‘The Wizard of Oz’ at the Theatre Royal alongside Holly Rose. Adrian has three daughters: Ava, who is currently with the National Youth Theatre, Sophia, who played Marta and Brigitta in the UK touring production of ‘The Sound of Music’ and Ruby, aged 9 who is hoping to follow in her sister’s footsteps! Adrian is excited to launch Bath Theatre School with an extremely talented team providing high class Musical Theatre coaching to young students with a passion for the stage.

Holly Rose-Bright
Founder & Dance Director
Since the age of five, Holly trained in dance which led to performing in 5 professional pantomimes. Holly’s love of choreography began when she attended master classes at Pineapple Dance Studios. Since then, Holly has gone on to perform and choreograph several professionally staged musicals, most recently the critically acclaimed ‘The Wizard of Oz’at the Theatre Royal in Bath. Holly regularly enjoys attending master classes held by Wayne Sleep, Matt Flint and Mary Hammond, to name a few. Holly’s dance idol is Bob Fosse for his inspirational dance style. Holly enjoys teaching young people to provide them with the opportunity to achieve recognised dance related qualifications in order to further their career in Musical Theatre.

Mark Hale
Drama Teacher
Mark has performed at the Theatre Royal, Bath, for the last 14 yrs where he his taken roles such as Tevye (Fiddler on the Roof), The King (King and I), Judd Fry (Oklahoma), Horace Vandegelder (Hello Dolly), Arvide Abernathy (Guys and Dolls) and The Wizard (Wizard of Oz). Mark also has a passion for plays having performed in Gallileo’s Daughter with The Peter Hall Company, Edward (Blood Brothers) and Solanio (Merchant of Venice) to name but a few. Mark was delighted to take up the opportunity to be Assistant Director with Bath Theatre School’s production of Honk! Jr. and found it hugely rewarding to see the children grow in confidence and blossom on stage to create a brilliant production. Mark enjoys sharing his enthusiasm and love of the stage and is excited to join the Bath Theatre School’s team as Drama Coach.

Lizzie Andrews
Dance Teacher & Assistant
Lizzie trained at the prestigious Bird College of Performing Arts in London and has been performing for over 18 years! She has performed many times in various theatres playing parts such as Bet in Oliver!, Little Girl in The Witches of Eastwick and Marta in The Sound of Music. She has been in three professional pantomimes and played Gabriella in the High School Musical show on the FantasyLand stage in DisneyLand Paris! Lizzie is excited to share her passion for musical theatre and is very much looking forward to watching the children grow and develop as performers.

Lyndsey Bower
Dance Teacher
Lyndsey’s love of dance began at the early age of 3 where she began ballet classes at local dance school, Dorothy Coleborn. She went on to train professionally at Bird College where she obtained a BA Hons degree. Upon leaving Birds’, Lyndsey performed professionally in many huge musicals including Saturday Night Fever European Tour rehearsing with Arleen Philips, Dirty Dancing which premiered in Hamburg prior to opening in London, which was directed by original film script writer,
Eleanor Bergstein. Lyndsey also performed on roller skates in Starlight Express and at London West End’s Dominion Theatre in We Will Rock You performing on stage alongside Brian May. She appeared in many other various productions, pantomimes, pop videos and TV appearances. On return to Bath, Lyndsey has enjoyed passing on her wealth of experience at local dance and theatre school settings and very much enjoys teaching the next generations of theatre stars at BTS!

Jenny Bright
Business Manager
Jenny has been performing for over 50 years and has appeared in over 100 productions, many of which have been on the professional stage. As well as being a trained dancer and regular performer Jenny has also been involved in many off stage artistic roles such as wardrobe, props and publicity. After a successful career with a leading Telecoms firm Jenny took up a career in child care which she has now been involved with for over 15 years. Jenny is therefore well placed to look after the day to day needs of the school and providing pastoral care and support to young people in a theatrical learning environment.
